The indie game studio grownarts will be launching the Kickstarter campaign for Paws and Leaves – A Last Tale on 6 November 2024. The game is an emotional journey of a young fox between life and death. It has unique gameplay, memorable keepsakes, and a heartfelt story and the development team will be thrilled to have the players’ support.
In Paws and Leaves, you step into the world of Me, a young fox facing his last moments after a snake bite. As his life flashes by, he sets off on a journey to uncover precious memories. His companion is Ani, a playful butterfly who helps out here and there. Guided by his keen senses, especially his powerful sense of smell, Me searches through a mysterious world between life and death to piece together his story.
The game will offer:
– A touching story with light horror elements that explores the fox’s last moments.
– Breathtaking open-world zones in various seasons, inviting players to explore and collect memories.
– The chance for players to immortalize their own keepsakes in the game through messages, pictures, or videos.
Paws and Leaves has already made a splash, winning the Ubisoft Newcomer Award in 2022 and earning a Best Concept nomination at the German Dev Days.
