Raised in the South Bronx, Jaye faced significant challenges from an early age, including growing up in a violent and overcrowded neighborhood. Her life was profoundly impacted at age 13 when she witnessed the tragic loss of her brother, a traumatic event that could have derailed her future. Despite these hardships, Jaye persevered, ultimately finding hope and healing through her faith and the support of compassionate individuals who guided her along the way.

Jaye credits her remarkable journey of overcoming adversity to the power of God, along with the opportunities and resources that helped her rebuild her life. Today, she holds a Masters Degree in Social Work and is dedicated to empowering others, particularly youth who have faced significant hardships.
